The research paper, that was published by Columbia University in 2020, is the result of a year-long intervention we carried out at a school in Karachi. We introduced the 5A framework at a school and found that the intervention had an extraordinary impact on students’ learning outcomes, student engagement, critical thinking, teachers’ professional development, and their teaching philosophy. The intervention included a 35-hours training on the #5Aframework along with other trainings conducted based on need.
